Our summer intern program is about to kick off and we’re thrilled to welcome a bright, international class of interns originating from far and wide including Paris, Seoul, Santo Domingo and of course the U.S. Throughout the summer our team will mentor and work closely with the group to develop and grow them in their chosen fields. The question on all our minds is, will any of the interns be able to beat our reigning office ping pong champion.
We’re excited to announce that Qardio has won a 2014 RedDot award for product design. The prestigious award is a great honor recognizing excellence in design, and is a testament to the innovation, quality and attention to detail Qardio represents. Other RedDot award winners from past years include Apple’s iMac in 2013 and the Nest Thermostat in 2012.
The win comes just weeks after wrapping up a successful Indiegogo campaign, where we helped Qardio to raise about $150,000 in just over a month.
After months of hard work, we finally can announce the launch of the new Triax website and the concussion education companion site, HeadOn. Triax is distinguishing themselves as a pioneering voice in sports technology and we’re proud to be involved in the groundbreaking work they’re taking on. Triax is part of our YMEE AdVentures® program, which serves to incubate new ideas and technologies, which we curate, invest in, manufacture and market through our own portfolio of lifestyle products and properties.
Breece Suber joins our Strategic Development team. With a Parisian flare and acute passion for prose, his experience has included championing the largest Champagne co-operative across the United States and working with Swedish House Mafia and Deadmau5, in Miami’s South Beach. An American football coach, Nutella connoisseur and political analyst, Breece will be actively involved in exciting new developments within the YMEE AdVentures® program.
The QardioArm, the first product launch from our client Qardio is now available for purchase in Europe and Canada. The feedback from early users has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re anxious for the upcoming U.S. release. Qardio will be presenting the QardioArm at CE Week in New York this June.
YMEE teamed up with Integer for the campaign teaser shot in New York. Working with world-renown photojournalist Steve McCurry, we provided backstage footage, main imagery and logistical support.
